In order to visit Zimbabwe you may need to apply for a visa. Your nationality will determine which of 3 visa requirement categories you fall into. Your category will tell you if you need to apply for a visa and when:

Category A
No visa required.
Category B
Visa on arrival at the port of entry.
Category C
Visa before arrival.

However, the Department of Immigration of Zimbabwe wishes to inform all e-visa applicants that the portal is currently undergoing maintenance which may interfere with your ability to complete the application. In the interim, if you face challenges while using the e-visa portal submit as follows:

- Companies and organisations expecting to host foreign nationals who need prior visa applications can also physically approach the Visa Section at Immigration Headquarters for assistance.
- Applicants can also request their relatives in Zimbabwe to visit the Department of Immigration for the manual submission of the application.
With effect from November 1, 2019, tourist visas for Canadian Passport holders shall be issued at the port of entry into Zimbabwe. Kindly note that visa applications will no longer be processed by the Embassy. The Embassy will continue issuing visas for holders of Canadian Diplomatic and official passports.
